With the aid of his trusty mule, Nubbin, U.S. Marshall Forsythe Grubbs begins his quest to capture the notorious Coddington Borax by putting up wanted posters throughout the Midwest. Shortly after this picture is taken, however, Grubbs shoots off one of his toes in a freak gun-hammering accident and is forced to delay the manhunt for two weeks.
