I read five commentaries on this portion of Scripture and did not find the silver bullet. I hope this was not the L.R.’s last ride, ’cause if it was, Isa.3:11, doesn’t bode well for the masked man. Just a tip here for all you equine lovers, don’t quote this verse aloud when riding your favorite nag.

I guess while riding your iron horse it would be OK to quote this verse aloud.

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

You can leadeth a horse to water….but you don’t have to jump in it.

I hear that the ‘new version’ of the movie is also making quite a splash.

LR to JD – Hey, Tonto, where did all those injuns come from?”
Tonto’s response – “What injuns, white man?”

Just goes to show that the old proverb is true: You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink of the spirit.

Perhaps he was reading from the wrong translation….of course this happens quite a bit…and he got confused…he thought he was reading from the Politically Correct Version, and failed to address the proper wording to Tonto….thus falling head first…

    Hate when that happens!

Woah! Isaiah 55:1 or Mark 16:15 are safer verses to recite when horseback riding.

    “‘Woah’ comes before the fall…”

@Anna, that would be Ecclesiates 4:10.
