Now that is getting to the kennel of the matter!
Comment by John Schmidt — February 14, 2011 @ 1:54 am
Such a dogmatic message!
Comment by Eddie Eddings — February 14, 2011 @ 3:11 am
The sermon is from Proverbs 28:1 (K-9 version)
“The Wicked Flea”.
Comment by Helen — February 14, 2011 @ 7:19 am
It’s those old itching ears again!

Next was the sermon named “Watch for the coming of the Hound of heaven”.

Oh the cone of shame

They’d planned a potluck, but everyone decided to just return to his own …

Does the name of this Church happen to be St. Bernard’s?
Comment by J. Paul — February 14, 2011 @ 3:21 pm
The comments are funnier than the original post (no slight intended toward the Sandwich).
I was thinking maybe he was going to teach on preaching the Gospel to every creature and don’t forget to fully submerge the cats.

Health concern? (Must be a name -it-and-claim it church.) Perhaps it’s short-sightedness. Don’t they know that in the new heavens and new earth those in Christ will have perfect glorified bodies? -Oh no, they’re dogs!
Comment by Deaconness — February 15, 2011 @ 2:34 am
Notice it’s all dogs? Know how they keep “the others” out? Read the church marquee outside: “Today’s sermon Philippians 3:2. Beware of the dogs!”
Comment by Mark Applegate — February 15, 2011 @ 2:33 pm
Speechless!
Comment by Janis — February 15, 2011 @ 6:50 pm
At least this dog’s need is evident and the pastor is responding. So often there are needs that are overlooked. Some are hidden and we don’t take the time to find out about them. Others are obvious but we ignore them…..similar perhaps to the foolish flea who says “there is no dog”.

Is the name of the church “Paws To Pray Doggie Community Worship Center”????
In the lobby puppies and doggies get a dog treat and a bowl of water.
Today’s message: “All Dogs Go To Heaven”….
Or…”Your Best Arf Now” by Jowl Osteen
Actually, this may be a bit “judgmental”, but the dogs in the pews look a bit bored…perhaps the juggling pups haven’t performed yet…
The after service potluck dinner follows…At least they won’t have to worry about having 20 different versions of green bean casserole….
Comment by Carol — February 18, 2011 @ 7:51 pm
At the “Paws to Pray Kitty Community Worship Center” they had to raise funds to replace the pews which the cats used as a scratching post….but that’s another subject altogether…

Do they believe in faith heeling?
Comment by Kim — February 23, 2011 @ 7:54 pm
Helen, it is not a name-it-claim-it church, it is a W.O.F. church.
Comment by Helen — February 23, 2011 @ 9:09 pm
