Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’

There is a mistake in this photo as it was actually taken after the service and not before. After “preaching” about running the race it shows Pastor Bruce Wayne and Elder Dick Grayson making a bid to be first in the queue at Starbucks. :D

But just as they get there Elder Dick shouts out “Holy cappuccino’s Pastor Bruce some Joker has beaten us to it.”

Yes, it’s so true…even the Flash has been late on occasions.

They actually skipped church, but they racing to be first in line for the potluck…er, pot-providence. Pizza was being served! :)

Ha! Great one. Now I have the old Batman theme running through my brain.

Actually, I think that’s a still from the 1949 Columbia serial, which was even more campy than the 1960’s TV show, but with singularly forgettable theme music.

With a mob of rabid fundies in hot pursuit Batman and Robin made their escape while Robin quipped, (puff, puff) “Holy Hero outfits Batman…(pufff) I guess the sign out front really doesn’t mean, “Everyone Welcome, Come as You Are…(puff, puff)…so do these outfits really make us look gay???”

Maybe the dynamic duo’s testing ‘Isaiah 40:31′.

“Holy Moly Batman, perhaps the message titled ‘Last one In Hell is a Rotten Egg’, was not the wisest choice in sermons.” Replied Deacon Robin as the angry congregation chased them from the morning coffee break!

If you look at the picture again doesn’t it look like batman is chasing Robin? Like Robin was trying to get away from having to go to confirmation class or something.

Look at those ears?!! They don’t look like Batman ears! Is Robin being chased by some Horned Bat Devil? Check back next week – Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel!

Maybe that’s really ‘Bat Boy’ of “Weekly World News” fame…all grown up!…and that Robin…well, perhaps he is trying to run away from Pastor Batman’s new dress code policies!

Yet again, one sermon series that sent sheeple into further confusion. When the Batman and Robin series on “How To Fly Over Your Difficult Circumstances” didn’t turn out quite as the pastor expected, though done in a joking manner, is a reminder at how pitiful some pastors are to come up with ideas they think will bring more people to church!
