Among the up-coming crop is the “Performance Artist Bible: Lobotomized Unblushing Mimes” version or the PABLUM version for Emerging Church Staffers.

Yeah, where have all the 1611 Farmers gone? Those crop of bad paraphrase Bible Farmers have been sewing their seeds….and the harvest is frightful

This is a commercial operation raising common “pew” Bibles. Some of these may be good enough to be put in Hotel rooms as well.
I grew up on homegrown, wide margin Cambridge. Stay away from the Oxford, sepecially in the Old Scofield flavor, dry and bitter tasting, ewwww.
My Taste is for a meatier fare these days and the KJV is like shoe-leather so I am more into a combo of ESV, NASB, and NIV picked at the peak of the season to ensure freshness from the field to your door. A well rounded combination that is more filling and tastes great.

That’s great news!! Maybe next year, farmer Jacobs can grow some Trinity Hymnals so we can replace all the hymnals that contain Michael W. Smith tunes.

The southern field where Virgil usually grew his “ESV’s” was sprouting the “Baptist Faith and Message” this year!

@LuLu I had heard that someone had went in that field and planted some kudzoo like “Trail of Blood: The Baptist History” tracts. Last I heard they have virtually taken over the entire “Southern” field. Once in place that junk is so very hard to get rid of. I’ll bet it was some of those KJBO protesters that did it.

The best treatment for those “hybrid fields” is a really HUGE sprayer full of “Sovereign Grace”!

That’s just nuts, everyone knows they’re ranched not farmed! They are leather covered after all!

There are some farmers who separate their NIV version patch, and their NKJV in another section, NAS in one part, Message in another portion, The Post Modern Farmer’s Bible in yet another spot…the KJV has been reduced to a small section. And then each year, the crops have to be rotated in order to provide fresh soil to spoil with The Message.

Soo…Was he harvesting The Message? :P
