A good reminder that EVERY church will lean.
    Some toward the teen
    Others toward the green
Believe it or not, some will lean
in between the sacred and obscene
It’s a crazy age we live in
    “Churches” for every one
My only hope is that the “Church”
    keeps leaning toward the Son.

“Just don’t all go on the same side, this thing might come down.”

I really like the leaning Church of Pisa. Made me laugh out loud. Nice.

Thanks Angus, and I just remembered a verse from the Reformed Mafia Study Bible which says, “They havea healed the wounds zof mya people lightly, saying, ‘Pisa, Pisa,’ when there isa no Pisa.”

Which way is the front in a round church?

The side on which the coffee and danishes are served.
The Mafia Italian to English Study Bible has commentary from the Godfather.

    Les, that’s circular reasoning.

Bet they were glad the organ was on wheels!

  • Comment by Les — April 29, 2010 @ 1:41 pm

Continuing with circular reasoning- members could run around the top floor together to get the church spinning and they could rename the church Vortex Church!

Hey, Carol, I think the Godfather is speaking at the Promise Keepers event.

Retiring Pisa Pastor to his Replacement
    Listen, lad.
I’ve built this ministry up from nothing.
When I started here, all there was was swamp. All the pastors said I was daft to build a church in a swamp, but I built it all the same,
just to show ‘em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one.
That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down,
fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up even though it leans a little. An’ that’s what your gonna get, lad–the strongest church in these lands.
