It seems there is an error in your poster. Shouldn’t it be the Holy Bible and “A New Kind of Heresy”, seeing as how there is nothing within McLaren’s book that is in any way, Christian.

Nothing new about it…Just Old “Progressive Christianity” repackaged in PoMo lingo to boot. Sad to see CT gave it a “Merit Award?”

Or new. Nothing Christian and nothing new. Reminds me of “A Generous Orthodoxy”, which was neither generous or orthodox.

There shouldn’t even be a question as to which book a Christian would choose. If someone picks the other pile of wasted paper…it tells of the spiritual condition of post modern “Christianity”….wasted…
