I believe that "revelancy" is falling into what Hollywood and the Left wants us to do and think! If we constantly ape their music, "style," fads, etc. we enable them to have even more power over our minds. We should take every thought captive to the supremacy of Christ and fight the system as faithful servants no matter the "Age is.

I will give two examples of ape-like menatlity: "Eco-Green, Man-caused Global Warming" and "Evolution." Too many in the church have rolled-over and played dead to both of these hoaxes. It is always harder to learn the truth, go against the stream, and fight the good fight (oh politically incorrect to mention fighting).

Carol,
Has it occured to you that the authors of this site may be busy in their day to day lives? I enjoy this site as much as you do and check it every day, but I can see that there are times where the staff may be busy. Remember the old Samwich? that one was not updated for a year (I think).

Also, concerning your response to my comment above, if you don't feel as though you can do anything about the current condition of the American church, I don't see how constantly pointing out what is wrong with it is helpful. We get how you feel, but what I don't get is how negative (bitter?) your tone is. It should grieve us when the gospel is obscured by humanism (Ps 119:136,158), but our response should not be constant griping and complaining. If I have you pegged wrong, forgive me, but this is how the majority of your posts come across. I make cracks about the posts now and then, but I can do so with a bit of humor as well.

Your name came up yesterday at lunch while I was eating alphabet soup and this morning I saw your face on a milk carton.
Now I am beginning to get concerned.

What can one person do against a system? We are so close to the end of days that it cannot be "fixed" by someone trying to "do" anything. Only when Jesus returns can there be true restoration to the way it is supposed to be.

Not many in the "church" system has ears to hear the Lord, much less one woman! People are so caught up in their own programs and ideas that they don't include God in them any longer. They just do their "thing" and ask God to bless it.

They cling to their little special groups and think this is what God wants for His church.

So many want to tell others how to do "things" for God, but not many step outside their own little circles of interest to really see things as they are. Not many step outside of their programs...

I hear you Carol, it was in jest. I've just noticed that the majority of your conmments contain the same type of content and adjectives for these posts. We know how you feel about these churches, now why not tell us what you are doing about it? I'm asking this to edify, not tear down.

Just disturbed that so many of the churches have used "relevancy" as a means to perpetuate carnality, when we really need to return to purity and holiness.
