While the turkey avoided triggering basic pet allergies in the children, the Henderson’s sadly found that the turkey’s baste was not gluten-free.

Someone should’ve told the little guy on the right not to take a bite of “Duke” until he was thawed and cooked.

Duke’s firt trick was to roll over and play “stuffed.”

The children quickly tired of Duke when they realized there was no place to put his leash when they wanted to take him for a walk.

The good news:”Duke” was clean and quiet. The bad news:”Duke” was clean and quiet”!

John and Edward never realised the turkey would have such an influence on their act when they grew up.

Imagine forcing the children to smile those fake smiles after learning that their beloved pet turkey was beheaded and plucked…and prepared for their “Thanksgiving” meal.

Posing before the uncooked bird seems a bit disturbing to me. I would rather see the smiling faces after it’s been stuffed, roasted and sitting awaiting to be carved…
