Indeed, even innocent looking children have need to come to Jesus (Matt. 19:14).

It’s an interesting post. For some strange reason our culture seems to think it’s “cute” when little kids swear, or “misbehave”…but the problem is, when they are rewarded for bad behavior in their youth, they will think it’s acceptable to act this way as an adult. Then the parents of these troubled teens wonder “What did we do that was wrong?” Uh, allowing them to misbehave and be rewarded for it as children.

Indeed, even children need to be redeemed by Jesus. And the gospel is not a complicated concept to teach…I was saved before I started first grade. It’s tragic when the church failed to mentor those young babes in Christ. I wandered through the desert most of my young life searching for something and didn’t realize what I had in Christ all of those years. This is one of the church’s failures. Failing to make disciples. They are keen on preaching the gospel, and seeing souls are saved, but they don’t do anything with those babes afterwards.

Are you saying my perfect, adorable, angle-faced little 14-month-old is a sinner?!

All have sinned and fall short…born of flesh…need a Redeemer!

His eyes do show that he knows that he might be doing wrong.
If he does in fact take that piece, his guilt will or may eat him
    after.

“Surely you will not spoil you appetite”, says little Eve in the background, just off-camera, urging him on!

I think young Eve made the cake with her Easy Bake Oven.

I think Young Eve was sinning by practicing idolatry in worshiping her calorie counts!

I think I understand the point here but let’s not forget how Christ received children and that anyone who would enter the kingdom must do so as a little child.

Don’t forget, he and we are simul justus et peccator.

    And I’m sure you realize that’s “devil’s” food cake…..

Angel food cake isn’t as fattening, as it doesn’t have gobs of icing on it….

My perfect little boy would never do anything like that. It’s all the other children that are the problem.
