If you look closely, you'll notice the metal rods planted in the ground and up their backs to give them the allusion that they're awake. Deacon Bob cleaned up in cash by selling toothpicks for the eyes and giving instructions on how to place them properly in the eye, so as to give the farther illusion that they were alert (Not to mention, it also helps to avoid blinding yourself. I just wish he had told me how to remove the dang things! However, it does help when the wife goes into a long discourse).

Although the one week, the youth pastor Andrew Mc Gulley thought it would be funny if during the "special music" they played "You Spin Me Right Round, Round" (For those who are not familiar, it was an 80's dance song...) And the pastor spun off into the choir...it wasn't a pretty sight.

Pastor Middleton recently had large hanging screens installed under the guise of using them instead of hymnals. The long malignant pauses in his sermons when his rotating pulpit faces sideways has revealed his true motives!

A rotating pulpit is only a problem if the speed isn't in proportion to the size of the congregation
