This reminds me of a funny church parking lot story. I pulled into the parking lot of a rather large church one Sunday morning where an oratorio was to be performed.A man,in a parking guard vest and a “Deacon” badge came running towards my car shouting,”…you go out and come back in the RIGHT way! I am sick of you people driving in the wrong way every week! You are going to cause an accident!”I continued to park, and was followed by the irrate “Parking Deacon”,lecturing me about “the need to follow rules,especially when they were expecting a very large crowd for this event”.I am sure he got a surprise when the concert started; I was the guest soloist!

This reminds me that the “Church Police” should be warring against sin and the affects of sin, not whether someone was parking in the right place or not, or even the ushers who tell people which pews they can sit in.
Strain gnats and swallow camels, quite a common thing in today’s church.
