The dog of 2 Kings 9 were saved because they obeyed the command of the Lord…..Dog on it, er, so to speak.

They are reading from the “Contemporary Canine Translation”, which has “softened” the dog-related verses in the negative to ones making dogs feel better about themselves.

Such:” A Dog shall return to his regurgitated stomach contents.”

We don’t want to be too hard on “man’s best friends”.

Question for deep theological thought: If the dogs in 2Kings9 had been truly saved, would they have eaten Jezebel?
