    LOL! Reminds me of John Wesley and his stones – and his random Bible verse method of determining “God’s will”.

    Great. Heard a story of guy who would determine God’s will by flipping a coin. I didn’t have a problem with that till I heard he was going best 2 out of 3.

    Or….the youth group who made up a list of things they liked to do, put in in a grab bag and whatever was picked, that was the annual youth group vacation…uh, I mean Youth Group Mission…

    perhaps you’ve heard the story of the man that did devotions with the “flip” method. He came across the gospels and read Matt 27:5 “and he went and hanged himself.” Not sure what to take away from that passage, he flipped again and read Luke 10:37 “You go, and do likewise.”

    I guess he just really wanted to meet Jesus.
