The comments seem to be getting progressively farther afield from the author’s intent. This bovine line of thought needs to be put out to pasture. Obviously, our replies pail in comparison to the original.

OK – I admit it: I’m not the smartest chicken in this hooch. It hit me yesterday as I was driving to church, past a local Chick Fil-A. Free lunch on the day they’re closed. It’s the same at a local pizza joint – “Free beer on Monday!” is one of their slogans. You guessed it – they’re CLOSED on Monday.

OK then. I get it.

There was a debate whether or not “pleather” was acceptable. But man made materials imitating “leather” are petroleum derivatives.
And that would cause issues with “green” cows.

The basketweave cover was considered, but those grass fed cows disapproved because that encroached on their vegetation.

They were udderly confused as to what kind of materials they could use. But it was to no avail.

I’ve run out of bad cow puns….
