It’s sad how much numbers are more important than faithfulness to the Lord in some Churches…

Hey, I don’t recall signing a release form to use my picture!

Junk food theology = overweight sheep
Overweight sheep are susceptible to ravenous wolves.

Although it made her famous, Bertha McCoy was less than thrilled about this use of her image.

Your caption is spot on. Giving folks what they want, rather that what they need, leaves the goats and sheep fat and flabby. People want the Joel Osteen/Robert Schuller of some undefined puppy love god has for sinners. People want to believe the ruler of the universe wants them rich.
But people need the Truth of the Word. Goats and sinful sheep will be convicted. Those who are God’s elect will be drawn to Him. Feeding on the Word builds strong bodies – not fat and flabby ones.
Pastors – give your people His Word, not your words. You will give and answer to the One Whose Word has been neglected in your pulpit.

Man, I love this sandwich.
The odd thing is that I don’t recall the “Frozen Chosen” on TBN looking like that. Come on! Don’t they have a diamelle-encrusted belt buckle or something?

I think scholars are now referring to this as “Agape Love Handles” and “Individual Member Growth and Expansion.”

When the subject is “personal growth”, we didn’t mean in the waistline. But just when you think that those unwanted extra inches of icky sermonettes build up seems harder to bear…alongside the extra trips at the pot luck dinners….Billy Mays and Kimora bodyslimming “trimmers” have developed a Purpose Driven Bodyshaper for those “gently rounded” sheeple who have grown fat off the fluff of sickening sweet sermonettes.
