Missionaries Earl Dittmer and Larry Welch found their evangelistic efforts in the Great Northwest extremely difficult due to the harsh winter weather, lack of modern transportation, and Larry constantly getting his boot stuck in his stirrup.

The Bible plainly states in Hebrews 10:24, “And let us consider one another in order to stirrup love and good works…”
