I couldn’t stop laughing once I realized that “Ezekiel 4:9″ bread was a real product. Their web site says that “Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Whole Grain Products are Inspired by the Holy Scripture verse Ezekiel 4:9.”

But I hope for the sake of the consumers of said products that the dung is used in the sprouting, not the baking.

Oh, oh, oh! EVERYONE in the whole foods movement (and that’s huge in the church now…just check out the blogsphere) LOVES this stuff. When I actually went to read the text on it I was shocked that people were actually eating something that was a symbol of defilement. For cryin’ out loud, just eat whole grain bread and be done with it. We’d be better off eating barley loaves, at least Jesus blessed those and fed the “5,000″.

Hey, is that “Bible” man endorsing this bread in it’s logo?

Not only is it Biblical, but it’s a great way of utilizing human waste…the “Green” churches would love this product!

And I bet it’s loaded with fiber!
